Made in Berchem

More and more often artistic and creative places pop up like mushrooms in the streets of Berchem: little graphic design agencies, secret galleries, hand-made carpentries, dance studios,… you name it. 

Made in Berchem puts these places on a map. As a matter of fact, it was The Shtick who put it on a map. Literally. The first edition of Made In Berchem, a route along all these picturesque venues, took place on the 18th of May, 2014.

The Shtick himself is born and raised in Berchem. It’s needless to say he jizzed in his pants while creating the artwork for this locally inspired creative recognition. The first time in 2014. Again in 2016. “Being part of made in Berchem is like watching Baywatch for the first time. Awel, ja!”
